Our organization's committment to hospice and palliative care providers is extensive and dynamic.  IHPCO works to:

• Serve as a statewide resource and clearinghouse of information about end-of-life care and issues.
• Provide continued professional growth through education designed to enhance end-of-life care and to broaden the potential for understanding the needs of the terminally ill and their loved ones.
• Protect the interests fo the terminally ill, their loved ones and the professionals who care for them through legilative initiatives and healthcare reform.
• Increase public awareness and understanding of the philosophy and principles of hospice and palliative care.
